Counselling for Trauma, Drug or Alcohol Dependence

Counselling for trauma or a drug and alcohol dependence is a critical component of recovery arising from living in a situation where violence has been a constant presence in someone’s life. Our counselling services are provided by a number of local counselling providers and funded through a mixture of grants and fundraising.

The services are free, confidential and are available whether you live at home, in one of our Transitional homes or the refuge. For refuge clients child care can be offered through our Child Advocate.

Eligibility

As counselling services are provided through our donations and grants, only Harbour clients will be funded to receive counselling.
